Specimen Steampunk Necklace

I really love using optometrist lenses in my jewellery. They really embody the victorian & steampunk style, for me anyway.

This one is smaller than usual, brass, antique (goodness knows how old!)

The lens is really thick, the patina is beautiful.
I attached a tiny bee stamping, swag connector & tiny pearl beads, brass drops & old watch gears. It has a very pretty toggle clasp too.

I know i've made a few of these quite similar, but, what the hell, they are prettyful!
