Description
Standard welding goggles
The piece attached to the left eye is from a microscope iris. I sanded it down to its raw brass state, rather than leaving it black, screwed it into the eyepiece so that it swivels on the brass screw it's attached to.
I have placed a gear from an old clock underneath it & in the centre is an oxidised brass cog.
The chain is attached by screws & jump rings & is antiqued brass chain.
Screwed in on the right side is another oxidised brass cog.
The chain in the centre is vintage copper chain.

How did you make the 'black things' which the lenses are attached to? Really wondering. Very wonderful work though!
