Another pair of goggles.
This time I took apart a little pressure gauge, thinking i'd be using the gubbins for some sort of gun/laser on the side. But the dial looked pretty tasty, so I used that instead. :D

Painted eye piece in brass enamel (I do so like that brass enamel paint ;p)
Pressure gauge dial attached to the right eye, with brass 2mm piping.
A few obligatory brass screws, little copper spring/coil.
Vintage copper chain keeps these babies together in the centre.

I like the implication that you can gauge (hahar) whether someone's head is about to explode... Good for atmosphere testing!

Which type of enamel do you use?

Muahaha! Gives you adequate time to hide behind someone or something ;p

I use plasti-kote fast dry enamel. I always sand & clean what i'm painting first, haven't had anything chip on me, so far ;)

Excellent planning...

And ah, brilliant - That's what I've been using (like on those goggles). The goggles, with their ridiculous amounts of coatings, were the first to actually be used with Plasti-Kote and I was curious about the durability. Thanks for that :D
